Why a website?

This  web site was a key objective of the MPA in 2001 to offer members and Mandalay residents an interactive communication channel for community issues, local networking and a voice for the Mandalay estate.  

 

It is important to raise awareness of MPA activities, increase membership and above all, promote local issues in the Mandalay estate.

 

With over 300 households in the Mandalay estate, it is vital to keep communication flowing with community updates and to inform new residents of the local issues that effect us all. [Please note that the MPA web site will not replace the MPA newsletter – it will compliment it with online community resources such as bus timetables, local issues, Mandalay trader and local real estate].
