Clean Up Australia Day 2003 Feedback

Again thank you to all the residents who signed up the Clean Up, on Sunday 2nd March 2003, we had twice as many people compared to last year.

Again we collected a large amount of rubbish in River Park, some parts of the river bank  were covered in rubbish.  The most collected items were tennis balls, plastic bottles and disposable lighters. The MPA put on again a great sausage sizzle with orange juice.

The committee has decided to do it again next year, but we will have two start times; a morning start  at 8am and then an afternoon low tide start.
