LOW FLYING JETS? NO WAY!

The new QANTAS cut price air airline “Jet Star” is very interested in using Archerfield airfield instead of Eagle Farm.

This cost saving exercise would put our homes right under the landing approach and take off path of low flying and very noisy passenger jets.

Archerfield management has stated that they would welcome the proposal which would include vast improvements including a new runway.

The time to lodge a strong objection is before the formal approach is made to the state government because after the ball starts rolling it would be difficult to stop.

We have invited our state government member, Mr Ronan Lee, to attend our A.G.M on Wednesday 24th.

It’s important to have as many residents as possible at that meeting to show that we are very serious about our objectives.
