Submission - The draft Fig Tree Pocket local plan

On behalf of the residents of Fig Tree Pocket represented by this association, we once again express our objection to the inclusion of small block and multi-unit housing development in this area.

During what was promoted as being community involvement with the development of the 'Fig Tree Pocket Local Plan', there was universal rejection of the small block and multi-unit housing development proposals by the local residents participating in meetings and workshops.

While comments by council officers during the final three workshops in February this year indicated that the views of the community were not important to the decision making process, we still hoped for a more democratic result.

We hereby request that the views of the local ratepayers by considered in this matter.
